Hi to the band- we caught your show at neisens a few weeks ago and couldn't believe the sound. we have seen the gal singing here and there both at mn music cafe, and whiskey junction acoustic and rock band, and wonder who she is and where she came from? Real talented and quite a stage presence that makes you believe you've seen her somewhere before. Don't get me wrong the band is great too, but she really catches your eye, and powerhouse comes to mind when I hear "THE VOICE" even after now hearing this web site music- she needs to be doing something bigger and better than entertaining us fools in small Mn clubs. "ROCK N ROLL" by Led Zeppelin covered by her is like MTV MUSIC AWARD WORTHY- people will buy tickets to hear THAT SOMETHING. A big lady and bigger voice, her personality shines through, and there is a playfulness, and excitability that you CANNOT take your eyes off. She's not the eye candy MOST bands have, and that adds even MORE to her Like- ability factor, she's different, an unexpected change, something NEW - She demands you listen to her, and can kick the asses of any of the eye candy we've had the displeasure of hearing in the Twin Cities! AMAZING! I find myself listening to ALL the songs here every day and people ask WHO IS THAT? I tell them a huge star in the making black water alley and the singer janine taft. The band behind her is fabulous, and I just can't believe there isn't a place like excel center that wouldn't snatch her up. So forgive me as I rant. The laugh she does at the end of Stranglehold has me sitting here with my employees around me and we are smiling- 'NO CHICK CAN SING LIKE THAT- HOLY COW! Keep on rockin Sister, someone needs to nominate you for MN Music Awards like TODAY!

Great overall band, looks like you all have a great time together and the overall sound of the band is out of this world! Keep rocking black water alley- could you possibly do some rush at the next Neisens show?
